Crewe Alexandra won't be changing their trademark passing style even if they can lure a big target man to Gresty Road.
Alex are currently in the market for a little extra muscle in attack and have already been linked with a possible return for veteran striker Dele Adebola.
However, whoever it is won't compromise the pure footballing approach that earned them promotion back to League One through the play-offs last season.
Manager Steve Davis has already confirmed he is on the lookout and that any prospective new arrival must be mobile and regularly prepared to run in behind opposition defences.
"We want to continue to play the football that was successful for us last season," he told Alex's official website. "The player would have to fit in to what we are doing. We want to be playing our football and being clever with our play."
