Coventry striker Andy Morrell is being linked with a move to Crewe, with his agent actively encouraging the South Cheshire side to take a chance on his client. Morrell has dropped down the pecking order at the Ricoh Arena, with Gary McSheffrey, Dele Adebola, Stern John and Wayne Andrews all ahead of the former Wrexham man.
31-year old Morrell has a good scoring record throughout his career, averaging just under a goal every 3 games. However, the 5'11 striker is unlikely to be Crewe's first choice, with Hull's Ben Burgess possessing greater height, the ability to hold the ball up and has age on his side.
