WIN a copy of 'She Wore A Scarlet Ribbon'

Thanks to author Jules Hornbrook, we have a copy of the latest Crewe Alexandra book She Wore A Scarlet Ribbon to give away.

The book is the third offering from Hornbrook along side Crewe And Its People (2009) and The Gradi Years (2000). The story tracks his 35 years as an Alex fan, through thick and thin, and explores the complex bonds that bind a supporter to one club.

For your chance to win a copy of She Wore A Scarlet Ribbon, simply answer the following question.

Who crossed the ball for Steve Macauley to head down, before Shaun Smith smashed the Wembley winner in 1997?

A) Colin Little
B) Steve Garvey
C) Danny Murphy

Send your answer to crewe@vitalfootball.co.uk by 9am on Monday 28th November.

The book is launched this coming Friday (25th November), 4pm-7pm at Hops Café bar, Prince Albert Street, Crewe, where you will be able to buy a copy for just £8.99.

The book launch will double-up as a Celebration of Shirts, with supporters encouraged to wear Alex replica tops from across the years. Anyone wearing a Crewe Alex top at the launch event will get a £1 discount.

Further details about the project, online sales & stockists is available on the book`s blog at www.sheworeascarletribbon.blogspot.com
