Sarcevic Departs For Chester

Antoni Sarcevic has signed a two year deal for Chester today in a surprise departure.

The former Woodley youngster has played a bit-part from the bench for the Alex this season but today Sarcevic's time at the Alex came to an end.

The 19 year old made 16 appearances in just over a year with the club after signing for a nominal fee from non-league Woodley Sports.

His move to Chester, where he spent a successful couple of months on loan last season, comes as a bit of a surprise to Alex fans having seen him come off the bench in Steve Davis' first game as manager last weekend. He also played 90 minutes mid-week as the reserves went down to a 1-2 defeat to Northwich in the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Vital Crewe would like to wish Antoni luck at his new club and hopefully we'll see him back in the Football League in the not too distant future.
