Powell Withdrawn From England Squad
Nick Powell has been withdrawn from the England U-18s squad ahead of their midweek friendly in Slovakia.
Powell was set to join Max Clayton with the young Lions for the friendly game on Tuesday.
Powell has been in brilliant form in recent weeks, operating both down the wing and up front, which could be the reason for him dropping out of the squad.
There has been no reports of an injury for Powell but having featured so heavily for the first team and with the FA Youth Cup also under way, it's likely Steve Davis & Dario are ensuring the 17 year old isn't over-played.
Powell's been replaced in the U-18s by Liverpool's Jordan Lussey whilst Max Clayton remains in the squad.
