Powell & Clayton In England Squad

Nick Powell & Max Clayton have been called up to the England U-18s for next week's trip to Slovakia.

The pair became regulars in the England U-17 set up last season, both eventually playing key roles during the Under-17 World Cup for England in the summer.

They will now join up with Noel Blake's England U-18s next Tuesday for a friendly in Slovakia.

Once again they remain two of just three players from outside the top two divisions, joining Charlton's Jordan Cousins.

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Sunderland), Jonathan Sutherland (Manchester United).

Defenders: Jordan Cousins (Charlton Athletic), Adam Jackson (Middlesbrough), Sam Magri (Portsmouth), Tyler Blackett (Manchester United), Eric Dier (Everton), Courtney Meppen Walters (Manchester City).

Midfielders: John Lundstram (Everton), Nick Powell (Crewe Alexandra), Jake Caskey (Brighton & Hove Albion), Matthias Fanimo (West Ham United), Max Clayton (Crewe Alexandra).

Forwards: Hallam Hope (Everton), Nathan Redmond (Birmingham City), Blair Turgott (West Ham United), Jordan Agbaje (Stoke City), Jordie Hiwula (Manchester City).
