Who Should Play Up Front?

One noticeable difference to the side this season from last is the lack of goals.

Having finished last season as League Two's top scorers, with Clayton Donaldson earning himself the golden boot, we haven't quite hit the same form this year. In fact, only five teams have scored less than us.

We have though more or less stuck by the same front two all season in Shaun Miller and Ajay-Leitch Smith.

Shaun Miller has clearly struggled since netting three in the first two games of September, it's now eight games since he last scored in the red of the Alex.

Ajay meanwhile seems to be improving weekly after being thrust into the Alex starting 11 this season, but Dario will surely be looking for a better return than 3 in 16 that Ajay has so far offered.

So, is it time to look elsewhere for goals or stick with the current combination?

A new poll is now on the site (down the right hand side), Who Should Play Up Front For The Next Match?

There are a host of options but you're welcome to add your own on the message board if you'd like to see the likes of Connerton, Koral, Sarcevic or even Powell given a chance up front.

Meanwhile, Ashley Westwood took Man of the Match for the Macclesfield game with 33% of the vote. Adam Dugdale was second with 26% whilst Nick Powell came up third with 20%.
