'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Who was your MOTM vs Southend?

Crewe fell to a rather harsh 1-3 defeat at home to top of the table Southend today.

Despite looking like taking something from the game, a couple of mistakes and a Southend 'super sub' brought about misery for Alex fans with 2 goals in the last five minutes from Bilel Mohsni.

But it's not all bad, there were some good performances from the men in red today and the Man of the Match poll is now live.

Meanwhile, Luke Murphy won the vote for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy game after helping guide a young midfield to victory. He received 27% of the vote ahead of Captain Dugdale with 24% and Caspar Hughes with 15%. Young Oliver Turton also fared well with 9%.

You can vote for today's MOTM on the poll found down the right hand side.
