All Aboard

John Bowler has today announced three new Directors onto the Crewe Alexandra board. As of September 1st shareholders Mark Hassall, Daniel Potts and Jimmy Rowlinson will become Directors. Chairman John Bowler described the three as 'long standing supporters' who have 'established links with the Club through their families'.

Daniel Potts has been eager to join the board of Directors for some time now, and the club's refusal to accept him as a Director frustrated Potts. Mr Potts eventually combined his shares with two other shareholders to create a controlling interest, but despite tentative interest, they have failed to negotiate a satisfactory sale.

Mark Hassall is the son of Vice Chairman Norman Hassall. Norman Hassall was one of the shareholders who combined his stake with Daniel Potts in order to create a controlling interest.

Keeping with the club's closed-circuit family theme, Jimmy Rowlinson joins David and Norman Rowlinson as Directors on the Board.
