'If It's Football, It's Vital'

In The Hat For The Second Round

With last night's win in a penalty shoot out at Bury, we can now look forward to the Second Round draw for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Set to be made live on Sky Sports' SoccerAM this Saturday, the draw will once again be split in North West, South West, North East and South East sections. We, of course, are in the North West section.

The draw will see Macclesfield, Morecambe, Preston and Rochdale enter for the first time after they were given byes for the first round.

So, our choice of opposition will be:

Accrington/Carlisle (to play each other Sept 6th)
Macclesfield Town
Morecambe
Preston
Rochdale
Tranmere Rovers
Walsall

The second round is scheduled to be played in the first week of October.
