Davis In Team Of The Week
Here's a rare sight, a Crewe Alexandra player in the Football League's Team of the Week this season. A rarer sight would only be a Crewe Alexandra defender in the Football League's Team of the Week.
So congratulations to Harry Davis on being chosen by the Press Association for the Football League in this Week's Team of the Week. The assistant manager's son didn't come back as pick of the bunch amongst fans but after a shaky start to his season Davis clearly did something right.
Not only was the 1-0 win down in Plymouth our first win of the season, to collect our first points of the season, it was obviously also our first clean sheet of the season. So, plenty to celebrate.
