Parkes Joins Burton On Loan

There will be no return of former trialist Tom Parkes as the Leicester City centre back joins Burton on a six month loan.

Parkes had spent a few days training with the club last week, also playing in the 1-1 draw at Nantwich, with a view to signing for the Alex on a loan deal.

Although Dario let Parkes return to Leicester, he did say that the 19 year old would remain in his thinking. However, today Parkes signed a loan deal with Burton, where he's already had two loan spells in his career.

Yesterday the Alex released former Hibs captain Chris Hogg from a short trial with the club and leaves the search for a defender, who Dario says will definitely be brought in by the end of August, a little cold at the minute.
