'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dario To Look At Further Defender

It looks like we will see yet another trialist defender for this Tuesday's home friendly against Derby County.

We've already seen the likes of Josh Gowling and Mt Bailey through the doors, whilst Leicester youngster Tom Parkes and former Stockport centre back Jordan Rose remain on trial after impressing in last night's draw at Nantwich.

Parkes is likely to get another chance for the Derby match but Dario says he's still searching and is keeping one particular player under wraps:

Dario told The Sentinel: 'Parkes looks a decent player and we may give him a go against Derby. We've also got another player coming in for Tuesday who I'm keeping under wraps for now.'

With only two weeks remaining till the opening day trip to Swindon, things have got to start moving soon transfer wise, though we've all been saying similar for around six weeks now.

July 23rd without a single signing - have we ever cut it this fine before?
