Bignot Set For Blackpool, Haynes-Brown To Yeovil
Former Alex defender Paul Bignot is set to sign for Blackpool today after a short trial according to Vital Blackpool.
Bignot left the Alex back in 2007 under Steve Holland's reign. Despite being offered a new contract at the time, Bignot took the decision to leave and drop down two divisions to Kidderminster for first team football.
Having come through the academy he played just 15 games for the club in three years as a pro but is probably just one of many who needed to take a step back to really fulfil his potential.
Meanwhile, one of this summer's trialists at Reaseheath is reportedly set for a deal at Yeovil Town in League One. Curtis Haynes-Brown spent little over a week with the club this month before Dario decided to stick with Harry Davis as his chosen right-back.
Haynes-Brown played in Yeovil's 3-1 win over Poole Town earlier this week and his move from AFC Sudbury is now reported to rest on just the two clubs agreeing a transfer fee.
