Teams Split For Tonight's Friendlies

Dario has split the squad down the middle for tonight's friendlies, with his first XI taking on Quorn and his second XI at Newcastle.

It pretty much means the team which started the match against Wolves on Saturday will be travelling to Quorn with Dario whilst the majority of the side who played the second half against Wolves will be travelling to Newcastle Town with assistant-manager Steve Davis.

Trialists Alan Martin, Mat Bailey and Welling Utd winger Loick Pires will also be featuring at Newcastle with Bailey set to play a defensive role having been forced to play up front in the previous two friendlies.

It should see most players getting a full 90 minutes in preparation for the season kick off in just over two weeks time.

Both of tonight's games kick off at 7:30pm and if you cannot make either of them then you will almost certainly be able to follow them on the Vital Crewe message board.
