Goalkeeper Martin Offered Deal
Former Leeds United goalkeeper Alan Martin could be set to become the Alex's first summer signing!
Dario has confirmed that the 22 year old has been offered terms to stay with the club following his trial and hopes to have the deal tied up by the end of this week.
Martin will arrive as understudy to number one keeper Steve Phillips having been on trial with the club over the last couple of weeks. He played in both the 4-0 win over Congleton last week and the second half of the 2-1 friendly win over Wolves on Saturday.
He'll join having turned down a contract extension at Ayr United this summer in order to search for full time football. He has previously had experience in the English leagues with loan spells at Barrow and Accrington, having spent a lot of his time at Elland Road on the bench.
