There may be no sign of signings just yet but we can offer you a heap load of rumours.

INBOUND:

Gareth Owen - Port Vale - Made a u-turn at the 11th hour and remained at Vale Park. No deal.

Jamie Vardy - FC Halifax - The club are known to be keen on the former trialist and are expected to make an offer but there remains a lot of interest from other clubs in the goalscorer with Preston declaring interest.

Astley Mulholland - Flixton - Non-league striker has had trial with club after long term interest.

Ewan Moyes - Hibs - Young defender has been on trial at the club in recent weeks.

James Meredith - York City - Reported to have been interested prior to him signing a new one year deal at the Minstermen. Link

Tyrone Barnett - Macclesfield Town - A target should Donaldson leave but the Alex face stiff competition from Crawley for Barnett's signature. No deal. Signed for Crawley.

Adam Proudlock - AFC Telford - One unlikely rumour doing the rounds on Twitter was a Alex move for 30 year old journeyman Proudlock. Highly unlikely.

Terry Gornell - Accrington Stanley - Out of contract Accy striker reportedly one of a few Dario is eyeing to replace Donaldson. No deal. Gornell moves to Shrewsbury Town.

James Hanson - Bradford City - Another potential Donaldson replacement but Hanson would come at a price. Also linked with Motherwell.

Lanre Oyebanjo - Histon - Defender was reportedly interesting the Alex. No deal. Signed for York

Josh Gowling - Gillingham - Reported to have trained with the club at the start of pre-season, former Gills defender could be offered deal by club.

OUTBOUND:

Ashley Westwood - Swansea, Nottingham Forest, Leicester - The young midfielder is reported to be a £600,000 target for Nottingham Forest this summer with other clubs also taking note.

Nick Powell - Liverpool, Arsenal - The 17 year old continues to receive interest from top Premier League clubs but is certain to remain at Gresty Road.

Shaun Miller - QPR, Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest - Miller is looking like a big money departure this summer with Championship interest intensifying. A £500k fee has been mentioned.

Patrick Ada - Exeter City, Kilmarnock - Not being retained by the Alex, a move up to Scotland is the latest rumour for Ada. Signed two year deal with Kilmarnock, 21/06/2011

Danny Blanchett - Doncaster, Brighton, Scunthorpe, Huddersfield, MK Dons, Crystal Palace, Charlton, Derby - Currently having a trial at Derby County but has been linked to various other Championship clubs.

Clayton Donaldson - Charlton, Crawley, Carlisle, Huddersfield, Bradford, Oxford, Chesterfield, Gillingham, Coventry, Oldham, Notts County - A decision on his future is imminent whilst it's been reported Clayton has had talks with Oldham.Signed for Brentford 01/07/2011

Dan Smith - Man City - 15 year old academy midfielder linked with a £500,000 move to Man City via The Sun and Daily Mail.

Byron Moore - Notts County - Has interested the likes of Notts County but recent talk suggests Moore could yet remain at Crewe. Signed one year contract extension at Crewe on 04/07/2011

Kick-off was delayed by half-an-hour due to a waterlogged playing surface and Tommy Rowe gave the visitors the lead through a deflected strike.

However, youngster Callum Ainley equalised with his first senior goal before the break and Marcus Haber and substitute Brad Inman added second-half efforts.
