Crewe Travel To Swindon For Opener

Crewe will open the new season away at Swindon Town on August 6th. The match will be Paolo Di Canio's first league match as Swindon boss with The Robins looking for a quick return to League One.

It represents a extremely tough first month for the Alex as they face, in absolutely no particular order, the likes of Plymouth, Shrewsbury, Oxford and Gillingham inside the first month of the season.

Port Vale will visit Gresty Road on September 24th to hand over the three points in a ceremony of Shaun Miller goals whilst the Alex will finish at home to Aldershot on the last day of the season.

That's all I can say. If I even mentioned Port Vale away on Feb 11th it is unlikely I will live to see it, with the Football League's henchman (The Dataco massive) patrolling such unofficial sites for anyone disregarding the law and posting football clubs and dates together.

You can log on to the official website, www.crewealex.net for the full fixture list, but for goodness sake do not go blabbing about a cold Tuesday night on Feb 14th against Burton. You'll have people thinking the Football League want people to attend!
