Gareth Owen Still In Talks; Soon To Sign?
Gareth Owen has confirmed he is still in talks with the Alex over a move and says he hopes something will be sorted very soon.
The Vale defender turned down a new deal at Vale Park today and confirmed on BBC Radio Stoke this evening that his Vale career has come to an end.
It's well known the Alex have put an offer on the table for Owen and all signs now point to the former Stockport man penning a two year deal with the option of an extra twelve months.
Speaking BBC Radio Stoke he said that with his wedding looming on June 4th he wants his future sorted beforehand but says he expects everything to be done and dusted a while before then.
So, it seems a matter of days before Owen is made an Alex player. Will he make a good signing? Head over to the message board.
