Donaldson returns for Crewe

Crewe fans will be buoyed by the news that leading scorer Clayton Donaldson will return to the starting 11 tomorrow following a 3 match ban.

The 27-year-old striker has missed the previous 3 matches after his sending off for violent conduct. In his absence the Alex have only registered 1 point from a possible 9. The return of the striker will hopefully get Crewe`s promotion charge back on track.

Donaldson is likely to partner Ajay Leitch-Smith in attack, as usual strike partner Shaun Miller misses out again through injury. Leitch-Smith has scored 2 goals in the previous 3 games so it will be interesting to see how he teams up with the leading scorer.

Shelly is likely to make way for Byron Moore on the wing while Donaldson takes Moores striking spot.
