The Alexandra Stadium has been selected by the FA to host this years FA Women's Community Shield. As Arsenal won both league and cup, the lady-Gooners will be playing against the Womenâ€™s Premier League runners up Everton.
With the sport growing in numbers, both participants and supporters it will no doubt be a great event for the local area, encouraging the female game to grow in South Cheshire.
The game will kick off at 8:05PM on the 2nd of August. Tickets will be priced at £5 for adults, £2 for children. If your too tight to even pay that for what will be an enjoyable evening, it is also to be shown on Sky Sports.
