Sian Massey Withdrawn From Tonight's Game

Lineswoman Sian Massey has been withdrawn from officiating in tonight's match between Crewe and Bradford after the mountain from a molehill esculates into true storm in a tea cup mode.

Massey was the subject of a couple of sexist off-air, therefore private, discussions between a few Sky Sports presenters which were then conveniently leaked to the press this week. The media have whipped everyone into a frenzy, leaving Massey centre of attention.

There was due to be a large media interest at Gresty Road which was only going to get worse with today's news that Andy Gray has been fired by Sky. However, the referees association have taken steps to quell the situation and have removed Massey from tonight's game.

No word on Massey's replacement but then, does anyone care?
