'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Happy New Year From Vital Crewe!

Well it seems like only yesterday I was writing something similar as we headed into 2010. How time flies when you're not having fun.

It's not a year that will be remembered for much as an Alex supporter, I'm sure you will agree. It was pretty unspectacular in every way with very few smiles but at least we had few catastrophes!

The best moments of the year will undoubtedly be the win at Vale Park through THAT penalty back in March and of course the fantastic 7-0 win at Gresty Road against Barnet. I'm also sure that, whilst we should probably keep our nose out, this week's happenings at Vale Park will have raised one or two smiles!

Games at Chesterfield and Morecambe, along with the other game at Vale Park, will however be better best forgotten.

The weather means the footballing year ends on a bit of a whimper but with eight games to play in January, here's to 2011 getting off to the best possible start.

Away from football, a very happy new year to everyone out there and whatever your 2010, here's to a better 2011!
