Dario says that the fringe players of the squad will have the chance to stake a claim for a place in the first team as a hectic January approaches.
The likes of Harry Davis, Kelvin Mellor and Carl Martin have all been ear marked after impressing in training during the enforced break this month.
Martin in particular has impressed Dario after his return from injury. The 24 year old who signed a year ago from Wealdstone is hoping to prove his fitness and return to the first team picture in the new year.
Dario told the official website that he isn't far off:
'Carl has been fine. He has looked good in training and has reported no set-backs. That is encouraging because he has struggled to be fit every since he came here.
'He still has his own ideas on how to play full-back and that is something we are working on.
'I've said that I will only go out and get a full-back in if I think he will improve us. Carl has trained for three weeks now and will be considered like everyone else once he is fully fit. '
Dario says that the club thrives on giving new blood a chance and admitted that with the New Year schedule the club's youngsters are more than likely to be called upon.
'We do have quite a lot of our own youngsters here. Some of them have limited experience but they may get an opportunity to show what they can do in the next month or so. They are improving all the time and Harry and Kelvin are ready enough to play if necessary.
'I would put them in and they will be considered like everyone else here. That is what this club thrives on and they just have to train well and make sure they are ready.'
