Wycombe Game Called OFF!

Saturday's game against Wycombe Wanderers has been postponed today following a pitch inspection.

A Cheshire County FA referee was called in by the club to check on the pitch but with temperatures not forecast to get much above freezing before Saturday, with -8C forecast for tonight, and more snow forecast for the coming days the decision was taken to postpone the match.

We aren't alone in a football free weekend. The Scottish Premier League cancelled their entire schedule for the weekend earlier in the week and today there have already been four matches in League Two cancelled including at Port Vale, Southend, Gillingham and Aldershot.

No new date has been set for the game as yet.
