Crewe Youngsters Progress In FA Youth Cup

The Crewe Alexandra U-18 side came away with a fantastic 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium in the FA Youth Cup Third Round this evening.

The game saw three penalties for the Railwaymen, all taken by midfielder Sean Cooke with two of them finding the back of the net.

The Alex went 1-0 up with the second penalty of the evening in the first half before being pegged back by Bolton with the score level at half time.

But it was the Alex's youngsters who progress as Cooke got his second of the night from the penalty spot in the second half, and that turned out to be the decider.

The young Alex side now await the fourth round draw in the coming weeks with the possible match up of one the big Premiership clubs.
