Moore Next To Sign?

Winger Byron Moore is mulling over a new two year deal and could become the club's sixth academy graduate to pen a contract extension this month. Matt Tootle, Luke Murphy, Ashley Westwood, Ajay Leitch-Smith and Shaun Miller have all already signed new contracts.

Dario has said that Moore is now the only player who's been offered a new deal and hasn't yet given an answer. A new two year deal would take Moore to 2013 at Gresty Road, with his current deal set to expire in the coming summer.

It's unlikely Moore will snub the new offer having struggled to really hold down his place in the side since breaking into the first team under Steve Holland in 2007. Despite making nearly 70 starts for the club in his three years in the first team, the 22 year old has never made more than 25 starts in a season.
