Academy Victorious At Blackburn

The Crewe Alexandra U-18's thrashed their Blackburn counterparts 4-1 in a fantastic win in Lancashire on Saturday morning.

The academy side have struggled to pick up the desired results this season, sitting second bottom of the Premier League Academy Group C table on 14 points but there was no question of this weekend's result.

Harry Clayton got back on the scoresheet with his 9th and 10th goals of the season after a month long dry spell for the 18 year old. The in form Sean Cooke also collected a brace, taking his tally to 8 for the season.

The U-18's next face Bolton Wanderers in the FA Youth Cup at the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday 30th November, kick off at 7:00pm. They then have a home league tie against Man Utd on December 4th as the league fixtures wind down for the winter, with just five games over December and January.
