Murphy Next In Line For New Deal

Luke Murphy is to sign a new two year deal to keep him at Gresty Road till 2013. Murph will be joining Tootle on a new contract, after Toots this week penned an extra year keeping him at the club till 2014.

Murphy, an academy product, is in the final year of his current deal but has been in fine form this season playing an almost ever present role in the Alex midfield. The 21 year old has notched up three goals on top of his five assists already this season.

There are also new deals in the pipeline for Shaun Miller, Byron Moore and Ajay Leitch-Smith, with all three also in the final year of their current deals. Defenders Patrick Ada and Danny Blanchett will also be waiting for new offers with their deals expiring whilst Adam Dugdale should also receive an offer soon with his contract expiring in January.

It's already been confirmed that although Clayton Donaldson, Joel Grant and Calvin Zola will be offered new contracts, Dario doesn't expect the trio to agree to the wage reduction each of them will be required to take.
