Goalkeeper News

Crewe have extended the loan of Polish goalkeeper Bartek Fogler by another month despite the return to fitness for the experienced Steve Phillips.

Whilst loanee keeper Rhys Taylor is currently holding the position between the sticks, Fogler has fallen out of the 18 man squad altogether after losing his place on the bench to Phillips. However, the Polish keeper has impressed enough for Dario to keep him at the club on another month's contract.

Meanwhile, Crewe have been granted permission by Chelsea to play Rhys Taylor in this weekend's FA Cup tie at Tamworth. Whether or not Dario will use him however remains to be seen; it could be an ideal chance for Steve Phillips to get some much needed time out on the pitch.
