Clean Bill Of Health Ahead Of Shrews

The Alex can go into tomorrow evening's home game with Shrewsbury with a fully fit squad. Full back Danny Blanchett has been given the all clear after missing the trip to Vale Park following a nasty clash of heads against Aldershot the previous week.

Blanchett could go straight back in to the side after impressing in recent games with a few assists, stand in full back Mat Mitchel-King is more than likely to make way. King is currently nursing a knock from the Vale game along with Ashley Westwood but Dario has declared that both are fit enough for tomorrow's match.

It's a position that Shrewsbury cannot relate to right now as they suffer an injury crisis ahead of their trip to Fortress Gresty. Their game on Saturday has seen them having to rule out defenders Dave Raven and Ian Sharps whilst former Alex centre back Danny O'Donnell is also a severe doubt.

They are already missing defensive pair Harry Hooman and Connor Goldson through injury leaving them more than a little short at the back!

A dip into the loan market may be their saving grace although they may not even have time for that.
