Bougherra Backs Buddy
Former loanee Madjid Bougherra has recommended a midfielder to Dario Gradi. The midfielder, who has been released by his club, is a friend of Bougherra and Dario has agreed to take him on trial. Although Dario reaffirmed that he is not actively looking to strengthen a strong midfield, he maintains that any player who would improve the quality of our side would, of course, be signed if possible. Madjid claims that the midfielder is even more athletic than he is, and believes he would make a good addition to our side.
Bougherra has twice been in contact with Dario this past week, with the second phone call providing this recommendation. Bougherra's continued association with the club highlights his affection for the club who gave him his chance in English football.
