Dario Slaps £25k Price Tag On Zola

Dario wants £25,000 for want-away striker Calvin Zola.. according to the Daily Mail.

Dario has already confirmed that any club wanting to sign Zola, who is only willing to leave Gresty Road on a permanent basis, will have to cough up some cash.

Bradford, Southend, Burton and Shrewsbury have already ruled out a permanent deal for Zola whilst Northampton are mulling it over.

£25,000 would probably be a fair deal considering Zola's current contract expires at the end of the season though you can't help but wonder if we managed to get £175k worth out of Calvin...

Then there is the matter of finding someone to pay the £25k fee. Plenty are lining up to take Zola on loan but all make a quick u-turn upon hearing Zola's fee and wage demands. In this climate, in this division there are only the odd couple of clubs with the money to spare, nevermind the clubs willing to spend it.
