Alex Trio Called Up For England Duty
Nick Powell, Max Clayton and Ben Garratt will be back in action for the England next month after being called up for the Under-17 squad.
The trio will travel to Georgia for the First Qualifying Round of the UEFA European U17 Championship where they will face Sweden, Poland and Georgia between October 18th-23rd. It means that Nick Powell is likely to miss next month's trip to Southend and the home game against Aldershot, unless Dario asks to pull him out of international duty.
Max Clayton also may not travel having been out recently with a knee injury. The 16 year old has been out of action recently with a suspected cartilage tear and, as yet, the severity of the injury has not been confirmed.
The trio remain three of just four youngsters from outside the top two divisions to receive a call up.
