Reserves Defeat Blackburn 2-0

A Crewe Alex reserve side defeated Blackburn two-nil in a behind closed doors friendly today.

Calvin Zola, Byron Moore and Nick Powell all got a run out, with Powell netting the second Alex goal.Summer signing Antoni Sarcevic opened the scoring for the Alex in the first half with Powell winning and scoring a second half penalty.

Makes you wonder why Powell didn't take the penalty against Bury. Either way, he can't be too far from his first professional start.

Team: Bartek Fogler, Kelvin Mellor, Adam Dugdale, Harry Davis, AJ Leitch-Smith, Antoni Sarcevic, Lewis Short, Byron Moore, Nick Powell, Calvin Zola, Jordan Connerton, Oliver Turton, Trailists x2
