'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Three In Team Of The Week

Clayton Donaldson, Matt Tootle and David Artell have all been named in the weekend's best 11.

The 'Team of the Week' is cobbled together weekly (surprisingly) by the Press Association for sponsors npower (I actually had an email instructing me not to use capital letters in their name!) and the Football League, supposedly making up the best 11 players from each division from the previous weekend.

Our 7-0 was obviously going to earn a few players a spot, with Clayton Donaldson's two goals making him the stand out. Tootle, who has made an impressive start to the seaso at right back, is joined in the defence by summer Artell.

Unfortunately no room for any Alex midfielders this week and Barnet didn't really give Taylor a chance to earn his place.

Meanwhile, former Alex loanee John Ruddy made the Championship XI for his performance for new club Norwich City. He's about the only noteworthy former Alex player chosen.
