'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I Think We Caught Them On A Bad Day

Dario was quite happy with the thrashing of Barnet. With his back against the wall, under pressure from fans after a poor result.... It was a result even Sir Dario didn't see coming.

Dario admits though that Barnet clearly weren't on top of their games with poor defending from the Bees helping the Alex on their way.

Dario telling crewealex.net....

'What do you say to that? You don't often score seven goals. I found myself sitting there with 20 minutes to go thinking, we've got this.

'They had a bit of height on us, and they were good with their corners, but they dealt with them well. I think we just caught them on a bad day.

'Some of the goals were simple. We won't score goals like that all season but I can only praise the players.

'I'm pleased with the goals, but I am really pleased that we didn't concede. The players were good at half time, and we started both halves terrific. We played well and maybe fortune smiled on us a bit today.

'The players are working hard, I'm with them and they are with me and that's important we need to be together and I think we showed that today, and it is good have the supporters behind us too.

'We have shown we can do that twice at home now, and we have to make sure we do it all season.'

The win has certainly listed the spirit of Railwaymen all over but there's still a way to go before all is well. An, yes, we do have to make sure we do it all season. Continuing with Ipswich on Tuesday.
