Zola Looking Doubtful For Barnet

Calvin Zola looks set to miss the home game against Barnet on Saturday after injuring his knee in training.

Who else but Calv would be the first injury of the new season?

The former Tranmere striker took a knock in training earlier this week and has failed to train since. Whilst Dario is hoping to see last season's top scorer back in Training either today or tomorrow, the 25 year old is looking increasingly doubtful for the visit of Barnet this weekend.

It's all the more frustrating after Calvin opened his scoring account against Cheltenham last weekend, scoring what was to be a consolation goal just after half time.

Dario summed it up on BBC Radio Stoke:

'When he walked off it looked like he'd be out for nine months. But knowing Calvin it probably isn't as bad as that.'
