Dario Ready To Move For Wright?

Crewe have been linked with former loanee right back Stephen Wright this week.

The former Liverpool trainee is reportedly interesting Dario after his current defence shipped in four goals in the first two league games this season, despite the promise of a more solid rearguard following the signings of David Artell and Danny Blanchett.

Wright could be the man to step in in an attempt to strengthen the back four further having been without a club since his release from Coventry City in May.

The 30 will of course be remembered for his two short loan spells with the club back in 1999-2000. He made over 20 appearances before returning to parent club Liverpool where he went on to make 14 senior games.

He joined Sunderland in 2002 where he spent six years, joining Coventry in 2008 after a short loan spell with Stoke City. Despite captaining the Sky Blues in 2009/2010 , he was released this past summer.

Whether Dario will act on his interest in Wright remains to be seen with it unlikely he would replace academy graduate Matt Tootle so early into the season.
