Crewe Given Home Tie Against Tractor Boys

Crewe will face Ipswich Town in the Carling Cup second round after beating Derby County on Tuesday evening.

A Shaun Barker own goal on the stroke of half time gave the Alex a well deserved win over the Rams in the first round.

Wednesday's draw paired us with a second round visit from Ipswich Town after the Tractor Boys saw off Exeter City 3-2 after extra time on Tuesday.

The tie is due to be played Tuesday August 24th with kick off at 7:45pm. Ticket prices are still to be announced.
