Westy Pens New Deal

Midfielder Ashley Westwood has today signed a new contract until 2013.

The new and improved deal is a reward for the 20 year old who took the supporters player of the season award last season having impressed in the 38 games he played.

'Westy', who also got 6 goals last season told the offical site, crewealex.net 'Dario wants me to stay.I would love to stay here throughout my career. That wouldn't bother me because it's an honour to play for Crewe'

He also spoke of the season ahead, saying 'I just cannot wait for the new season to start and hopefully we can push on and be preparing for League One football again this time next year'.
