Alex Seal Phillips Deal
Goalkeeper Steve Phillips has today signed a 2 year contract with Crewe Alexandra.
The pernament deal follows Phillips' loan spell with the railwaymen last season when he made 29 appearances.
Phillips, 32, joins on a free transfer having been released by Bristol Rovers a the end of the season.
Crewe will now look to secure the signing of at least one more goalkeeper, expected to be Rhys Taylor of Chelsea on loan, as Phillips is set to be out of action until September, following a double shoulder operation he has had since the close season.
The signing of Phillips will be seen as a posotive one by many fans and Vital Crewe would like to welcome Steve to the club once more.
