No Moore Till April

Byron Moore is facing up to four weeks on the sidelines after suffering ankle ligament damage during Saturday's game at Torquay.

The young winger was felled twice by Gulls full back Lethaniel Rowe-Turner in the opening ten minutes of the match, forcing Moore to hobble off.

The injury means Moore is unlikely to return prior to the Alex's final three games of the season; Accrington at home, Rotherham away and Bradford at home.

The 21 year old has played a big part in recent weeks covering up front for the injured Calvin Zola before reverting to the wing earlier this month.

Dario told the official website crewealex.net that the injury will come as a blow to Moore:

'Byron has ankle ligament damage and will be out for weeks rather than months.

'It is a blow for Byron because he had got himself back in the team and started the game brightly on Saturday. He was looking dangerous again so this is a set-back for him.'
