Crewe ASi Footy Day

Crewe ASi Footy Day

Good Afternoon

I am on the committee of Crewe Alexandra Supporters Initiative. It's the official supporters group of Crewe Alex.

We have an annual Family Football Day, and it's taking place on Sunday 30 July 2006 at The Peacock - local pub, which will be open all day serving beer.

It's 7 a-side and you can enter a squad of 10 people. You can use rolling subs and each game last for 12 minutes. The number of games each team play will depend on the amount of teams who apply; last year we had 14 teams.

It's a family day, with bouncy castles, ice cream vans, BBQ, penalty shoot out comp for kids, tombola store and a raffle. There's plenty of car parking space or indeed mini bus space.

To enter a team it will cost £50 - just £5 per player. Kick offs at 12 noon and the final takes place around 17.30.

Do you fancy entering a team?, if so please get in touch.

Regards

Preview: Crewe vs Bolton XI

Well if this isn't a bit weird: I'm writing a preview for a Bolton match for Vital Crewe, having edited Vital Bolton for 18 months.

Anyway, I'm back and I'd like to start off by thanking Ross for his sterling work in the last few weeks while I've been away. He's run the site on his own and I think he's done a great job. Or at least I say he has...

Disappointingly, Bolton will not be bringing their first team as promised as they've opted to switch their reserve and first team fixtur
