'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Still No Offers For Billy

The door is being left open for former captain Billy Jones to leave the club on a loan deal before his contract runs out this summer.

The former Exeter City defender has been left out in the cold under Dario's reign after expressing his desire to leave the club in the summer. Following Gudjon Thordarson's departure in October Billy has played just 13 minutes of football since, despite being an ever present captain in the first 12 games of the season.

The 26 year old's details were circulated for the January transfer window but only Dagenham & Redbridge were known to express an interest, ending that interest when they were priced out of any potential deal.

With the transfer window shut and a permanent deal not possible Dario Gradi has said that Billy, along with fellow defender Patrick Ada, will remain available for loan but insists no offers have been made for either player.
