Non-League Defender Offered Trial Opportunity

Bedworth United's centre back Danny Miley has been given a chance to earn a professional contract after being handed a one month trial with Crewe.

The 22 year old is currently of the books of Bedworth United, who are currently struggling at the wrong end of the Zamaretto Midlands League Division One.

Bedworth boss Bernie Cope told the Coventry Telegraph, "Danny`s a good defender and I hope it works out for him. He wants to play at a high level and this is his chance to shine.'

Miley joins former Celtic youngster Danny Gardner at on trial Reaseheath, with Gardner expected to make an appearance for th reserves in a friendly against Birmingham on Monday.
