Crewe Ready For Bruised Cherries

Clayton Donaldson will keep his place in the Crewe forward line after shaking off a hip injury this week.

The former York hot shot hobbled off during the win over Darlington last weekend after taking a knock to his hip. Thankfully it turned into nothing too serious and Donaldson should keep his place in the side up top with Calvin Zola.

Skipper Mat Mitchel King meanwhile will definitely be forced out with loanee Harry Worley called in as his replacement. King fell awkwardly on his ankle just a quarter into the Darlington match, forcing the former Histon defender out of the game. Despite ligament damage there is the encouraging news that the injury is nowhere near as bad as expect. Dario told the official website that King could even make the squad for the trip to Rochdale next week.

Tomorrow's visitors meanwhile are having no such luck with their injury troubles. Bournemouth will be traveling with just 13 available players after injuries started to pile up this week whilst defender Warren Cummings is suspended after a childish spat with Aldershot's back up keeper at the weekend.

Despite being under a transfer embargo, The Cherries did manage to ease their worries slightly after receiving permission from the Football League to complete the loan signing of Norwich left-back Rhys Wiggins.

Reports also suggest that the Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall could also make the team sheet in order to make the numbers up.

We've certainly picked the right time to play the south coast club. Despite currently sitting second in the league, Bournemouth's injury worries and current three game losing streak must install the Alex as favourites for tomorrow's tie.
