Zola In Line For Return This Weekend
Calvin Zola could be restored to the starting line up against Darlington on Saturday after overcoming an eye injury.
The former Tranmere striker required eye tests last week after being hit in the face by a ball in training, and we have since felt the full effects of his absence. Options without Calvin are limited and the lack of flowing football up front at Dagenham and Hereford arguably was the cause of the dropped points.
With 13 goals this season, Zola has just become the unexpected goal getter but also the crucial goal maker. Despite starting the season as boo-boy favourite his performances this season have transformed him into an out and out fan favourite, winning the PFA Player of the Month in October.
Dario confirmed Zola's return, saying:
'He's clinically fit and he will be involved at the weekend as we don't play the same without him,'
