Macclesfield Town Game Gets Green Light

Today's game between Macclesfield and Crewe has been given the go ahead by the match official following an 11:20am pitch inspection.

Macclesfield and their fans have worked round the clock clearing snow, ice and water from the pitch, terraces and surrounding areas at Moss Rose in a bid to see the game go ahead. Yesterday they hired covers to make sure they beat the sharp frost that hit the region over night.

So the Alex can now look to extend their six game unbeaten run against their Cheshire rivals with a 3pm kick off today.
