Five Unbeaten As Barnet Succumb

Five Unbeaten As Barnet Succumb

Another unbeaten home record is laughed at by Crewe Alexandra as Joel Grant and Clayton Donaldson goals sweep aside Barnet.

Barnet had remained unbeaten at Underhill in the league this season till today; as an in form Crewe Alex side continue their march up the league.

After Joel Grant's first half strike put Crewe deservedly in the lead with the former Aldershot winger latching on to a through ball by Ashley Westwood. Barnet pegged The Alex back just minutes before half time but a deserved three points were secured by Clayton Donaldson, finishing after a Calvin Zola flick on.

The Railwaymen could have extended their lead on many occasions but few will be complaining as we take our unbeaten run to five games.

Moving up to 13th in the table only four points separate us from the play-off spots - something we should now surely be aiming for.

The stench of Gudjon Thordarson's time at the club has well and truly go. Onwards and upwards with Sir Dario at the helm.
